This competition brings students and parents together to explore how artificial intelligence can transform industries and solve real-world problems.

Time: 10am-11:30am

Age: Students in Grade 5 & above are welcome to enter!

How the Competition Will Work

ChatGPT Innovation Track

  • Students & parents team up to ideate & build AI-powered solutions using ChatGPT.

  • Focus on applying AI to real-world industry challenges - how would AI improve your parent’s workplace or industry?

Coding with AI Track (Optional)

  • Students can take a Strive AI coding class before competing.

  • Here they will learn to create AI-powered applications & tools from scratch to enrich their project & develop a working prototype for the competition.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding AI tools & ChatGPT capabilities

  • Designing AI-driven solutions for real-world problems

  • Collaborative problem-solving with parents & peers

  • Optional: Coding AI applications & building prototypes

Semi-Finals

Top projects will be invited to demo in-person at OpenAI Singapore, where students showcase their ideas and meet industry experts.

Selected parents will have the opportunity to connect with OpenAI teams.

    • ChatGPT Innovation Track: Teams use ChatGPT to ideate solutions for real-world industry challenges.

    • Coding with AI Track (Optional): Students take a Strive AI coding class to learn how to build AI-powered applications before competing.

    • The competition weekend will be Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at (time).

    • Semi-finals for top teams will be in-person at OpenAI Singapore.

    • Participation in the ChatGPT Innovation Track is free.

    • The Coding with AI Track is optional and involves a paid Strive class to prepare students for the coding challenge.

  • You just need a laptop or computer

    • Projects are evaluated based on creativity, innovation, feasibility, and impact.

    • Top teams are invited to present their projects in semi-finals.

  • We recommend using a computer or laptop for the best experience.

  • None needed, any prep needed will be taught and covered in the 15 minute introduction.
